Ghana’s Black Stars will face Chad in their Matchday 5 fixture of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Currently sitting in second place in Group I after four matches, Ghana will aim to boost their qualification hopes with a strong performance against Chad. The Black Stars are determined to bounce back after a disappointing 2024 campaign, which saw them win just two games and fail to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) for the first time in 20 years.

Following the match against Chad, Ghana will travel to Morocco for their Matchday 6 encounter with Madagascar on Monday, March 24, 2025.

With previous World Cup appearances in Germany, South Africa, Brazil, and Qatar, the Black Stars are determined to secure a place in the 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
