A devastating boat accident in the Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State has resulted in at least five fatalities, with 20 others still unaccounted for.
The tragic incident occurred on the evening of Monday, February 24, when two speedboats, carrying passengers returning from a burial, collided and capsized. Eyewitnesses reported that many passengers were not wearing life jackets, which they believe contributed to the high number of casualties.
