A two-storey building with 20 bedrooms in the Upper Denkyira West District of the Central Region has been extensively damaged by fire.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) responded promptly to the blaze, managing to save eight of the bedrooms. Despite their efforts, the remaining 12 bedrooms, along with their contents, were completely destroyed.

The District Fire Command confirmed that their timely intervention prevented the fire from engulfing the entire building. However, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Authorities are urging residents to follow fire safety guidelines, particularly during the dry season, when the likelihood of fire outbreaks tends to increase.
