In an official statement, the new government emphasized that the cabinet is focused on tackling urgent national issues and delivering on key campaign promises. The team includes a blend of seasoned Members of Parliament and expert sector ministers, showcasing President Mahama’s commitment to inclusive governance and addressing the nation’s most pressing challenges.

Speaking at a press conference, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister for Government Communication, outlined the cabinet’s immediate priorities. “Among our foremost concerns are curbing inflation, reducing unemployment, and addressing security issues,” he stated. He further noted that the newly appointed cabinet is expected to act swiftly to address these critical issues and begin their work without delay.
