President John Dramani Mahama has unveiled the formation of his cabinet, which includes 19 ministers who will assist in the execution of his four-year mandate.
The appointments align with the provisions of Article 76 (1) of the 1992 Constitution, ensuring that the cabinet is legally constituted to help guide the nation’s affairs.
In an official statement, the new government emphasized that the cabinet is focused on tackling urgent national issues and delivering on key campaign promises. Speaking at a press conference, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister for Government Communication, outlined the cabinet’s immediate priorities. “Among our foremost concerns are curbing inflation, reducing unemployment, and addressing security issues,” he stated.
