“Ned Nwoko Isn’t the Father of My Child and Polygamy Isn’t for Me” – Chika Ike

Nollywood actress Chika Ike has vehemently denied rumors suggesting that billionaire politician Ned Nwoko is the father of her unborn child, following widespread speculation about her pregnancy.

The actress, who recently announced her pregnancy, has faced a barrage of rumors regarding the identity of the child’s father. Gossip outlets quickly linked Nwoko to the actress, claiming that the two had been involved in a romantic relationship for years and were soon to marry.

However, in a strong statement issued on social media, Chika Ike addressed the swirling rumors and rejected any connection to the businessman and politician. She firmly stated that she has no interest in polygamy, dismissing any suggestions that Ned Nwoko could be her child’s father.

“I’ve been pregnant for months now, and no one even had a clue about my pregnancy until I announced it. And you all think you’ll know who the father of my child is or anything happening in my life? Very laughable and clueless!” Chika wrote.

She further explained that she chooses to keep her personal life private and does not feel the need to address false reports unless they directly involve her child. The actress was particularly clear in denying the claims about Nwoko, stating, “Ned isn’t the father of my child and whoever’s name you might come up with later with your guessing games. Like I’ve said before, I’m not about to be anyone’s 7th wife! Polygamy isn’t for me.”

While Chika Ike acknowledged that rumors are part of being a public figure, she emphasized the importance of her privacy and peace, particularly during such a special moment in her life. “My privacy is my peace, and NO ONE can unsettle me. I’m basking in the euphoria of my pregnancy, and that’s all that matters to me now,” she added.
