Six individuals accused of the murder of Francis Yaw Frimpong, an avid Asante Kotoko fan known as Pooley, have named one Braimah as the assailant in the case.
Speaking to the press after the court proceedings on February 17, Communications Director for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Samuel Sarfo Duku, Esq., referenced the police fact sheet and confirmed that Braimah is still on the run.
“…one person is still at large. He is called Braimah and per police facts, he actually stabbed the deceased person. According to police facts, all the accused persons have admitted the fact that it was that guy called Braimah who is now at large did stab Pooley to death,” Duku told journalists.
The murder of Pooley has led to two separate cases pending before the Sunyani District Court. In the first case, three accused persons are standing trial, while six others are facing charges in the second case.
