Former Kotoko Official Offers GH₵10,000 Reward for Suspect in Pooley’s Murder

A former management member of Asante Kotoko, David Akwasi Serebour Boateng, has announced a GH₵10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect involved in the murder of a Porcupines fan.
The suspect, identified as Braimah, allegedly stabbed Francis Yaw Frimpong, also known as Pooley, to death during a game at Nsoatre on February 2. This development comes after six accused persons in the murder case named Braimah as the assailant.
According to the police fact sheet, Braimah is currently on the run. Samuel Sarfo Duku, Esq, Communications Director for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, referenced the fact sheet while addressing the press at court on February 17.
“…one person is still at large. He is called Braimah and per police facts, he actually stabbed the deceased person. According to police facts, all the accused persons have admitted the fact that it was that guy called Braimah who is now at large did stabbed Pooley to death,” Duku stated.
In a Facebook post, Serebour announced the reward, saying, “As a former management member of Kotoko, I am offering Ghc 10,000 to anyone who will assist in arresting the killer of Nana Pooley.”
