Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, has publicly expressed regret for his past attacks on former President John Dramani Mahama, acknowledging that his actions were influenced by deceptive political pressures.

In a heartfelt admission, Owusu-Bempah, who had previously been a vocal critic of Mahama, described his actions as a mistake and confessed that he had been misled. “I was blinded and wasted my time on unnecessary things. I rallied and fought against a good person without knowing the truth. I now realize that Mahama is a man with a good heart; that’s what God revealed to me,” he said during his public confession.

The preacher went on to emphasize that after interacting with Mahama, he believes the former president is deserving of the country’s leadership. “Upon interaction with Mahama, I can state on authority that he is worthy of leading the nation,” Owusu-Bempah added.

He also commended Mahama for his leadership qualities, expressing admiration for the former president’s character beyond the political sphere. “Beyond politics, I genuinely like Mahama for his good heart. How could I have spoken badly against such a person? When I think of those days, I am beyond pained,” Owusu-Bempah remarked.

The controversial preacher also directed his criticism toward certain members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), accusing them of manipulating him into opposing Mahama. He claimed that these individuals later turned against him.

Furthermore, Owusu-Bempah took aim at current President Nana Akufo-Addo, accusing him of being ungrateful despite the preacher’s support for his administration.
