Chief Nixon Hamilton Biney, the former Deputy National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has confirmed the passing of his partner, Lucie Ama Nyama Cofie.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Biney shared the tragic news and reflected on the profound impact Lucie had on his life. “Life takes us on different paths, but I’ll always appreciate the lessons we learn. I’ll cherish the memories we shared and the impact you had on my life,” he wrote. He continued, expressing deep sorrow, “Your love, laughter, and memory will forever be in my heart. Rest in peace, Lucie Ama Nyama Cofie, my loving and forgiving partner.”
Lucie, who was 45 years old, leaves behind a daughter, Marie-Elizabeth Aba Badua Biney Nixon.
A funeral service to honor Lucie’s life is scheduled for January 24, 2025, at the Lashibi Funeral Homes. Friends, family, and well-wishers are invited to join the family in celebrating her life and paying their respects.
