ORAL Team Receives Dossier on National Service Ghost Names Scandal

The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team, headed by its chairman Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has received a comprehensive dossier revealing the extent of the National Service ghost names scandal, which has reportedly resulted in financial losses exceeding GHS500 million for Ghana.

The dossier, prepared and presented by The Fourth Estate in collaboration with the Media Foundation for West Africa, exposes fraudulent activities that have led to substantial financial harm to the nation.

In a Facebook post on Friday, Ablakwa expressed his gratitude to the organizations for their significant contribution, acknowledging their dedication to Ghana’s progress. “We are extremely grateful to The Fourth Estate and the Media Foundation for West Africa for the presentation and their exceptional patriotism. Together, we shall reset Ghana and recover all loot,” he wrote.

The ORAL team is committed to investigating and addressing fraudulent practices within the public sector. The newly received dossier will be a crucial tool in their ongoing efforts to recover stolen funds and ensure accountability for those responsible for the scandal.

This development forms part of a broader initiative to combat corruption and promote greater transparency within Ghana’s public sector. With the backing of both local and international experts, the ORAL team is working to restore public trust in government institutions and ensure that public resources are effectively utilized for the benefit of all citizens.

The ORAL team also includes prominent figures such as Daniel Domelevo, former Auditor-General; COP (Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye, retired Police Commissioner; Martin Kpebu, private legal practitioner; and Raymond Archer, investigative journalist.
