Robert Kutin Junior, the Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central Region, has passed away.
According to reports, Mr. Kutin was pronounced dead at approximately 10:00 PM on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in Accra.
His passing follows a seven-month battle with an undisclosed illness, which had kept him from participating in the 2024 election campaign.
Isaac Mensah, also known as Mr. Blankon, the Central Regional Communications Officer for the NPP, confirmed the news of his death to Adom News.
Mr. Kutin, who was re-elected as the Central Regional Chairman in 2022 after defeating Joseph Kobina Essibu, had been an influential figure within the party.
