Ghanaian socialite Efia Odo has made a bold prediction about the upcoming general elections, confidently stating that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will emerge victorious.
In a tweet posted on X (formerly Twitter), Efia Odo wrote, “The next President of Ghana is Bawumia. Bookmark this tweet, give praises to God after the election. It is the doing of the Lord.” Her comment quickly gained attention, sparking discussions and debates online.
While some critics have accused her of being bribed to make such a prediction, Efia Odo firmly rejected these claims. She clarified that her statement was not an endorsement of Bawumia, but merely a prediction about the election outcome.
“I didn’t say I’m voting for Bawumia; I said he’s winning the election. Even if I tweeted Mahama or Cheddar is winning, you would’ve said I’ve taken a bribe,” she responded to the accusations on social media.
