Ghanaian dancehall artist Stonebwoy has revealed that he has been invited to perform at a National Democratic Congress (NDC) rally in Kawukudi, as the country gears up for the December 7, 2024, general elections.
In a recent interview on Hitz FM, the award-winning musician shared that while he has yet to speak directly with the party representatives, he is evaluating the invitation, with particular focus on the financial package offered.
“I’ve received calls from various political parties to perform. The most recent one is from the NDC. We’re assessing the fee, and if all goes well, I’ll perform for my fans and channel some of the funds into my upcoming BHIM Festival,” Stonebwoy explained.
The artist emphasized that his performances, regardless of the political platform, are centered on promoting peace and unity among Ghanaians.
“As we approach the elections, all I want is a peaceful process. Whether I’m on an NDC, NPP, or CPP stage, I’ll be performing for peace. Ghana comes first, and in the end, we must all win as one nation,” he added.
