Former President and National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Candidate John Dramani Mahama is set to host a Governance Forum on Thursday, October 31, beginning at 6:00 PM. The event, part of the #MahamaConversations platform, will center on the theme “Resetting Ghana for Good Governance and Accountability.”
Mahama has expressed concerns about the current state of governance in Ghana, stating that the nation is at a critical juncture. He noted that injustices are deeply embedded in society and that many citizens are enduring significant hardships due to the state of the economy.
The forum aims to address these urgent issues and present Mahama’s vision for a more prosperous future for the country. During the event, the NDC leader plans to outline several initiatives aimed at enhancing government accountability.
A significant component of his proposal is the establishment of a Governance Advisory Council. Mahama believes this council will play a crucial role in improving political governance, fighting corruption, and upholding human rights.
To ensure broad accessibility, the Governance Forum will be broadcast live across various platforms, including television, radio, and all of John Mahama’s social media channels.
