The General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako, and his wife, Mouha Amoako, returned to court for the second time on Wednesday concerning a legal matter involving their son. They are joined by their sales assistant, Linda Owusu-Bempah, facing charges related to allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a vehicle.
During the court session, Bishop Salifu made a formal request for an order to prevent both the media and police from publishing photographs of their son, emphasizing concerns about his privacy and well-being given that he is underage. This appeal follows a tragic accident in East Legon that claimed the lives of two teenagers, during which their son was injured.
The court was informed that their son, Elrad, was deemed unfit to appear due to the injuries he sustained in the incident. A recent medical report from the University of Ghana Medical Centre indicated that Elrad is recovering from significant injuries, including ankle dislocations, lacerations, and ligament tears.
Elrad was discharged from the hospital on October 28 and has been advised to keep weight off his right leg, which currently renders him unable to participate in police interrogations.
