Authorities have taken Nana Amo Abraham into custody for allegedly assaulting his 20-year-old daughter in Twifo Praso, located in the Central Region.
According to police investigations, the incident occurred during a disagreement, which led to Abraham physically assaulting his daughter and causing her bodily harm.
A police statement confirmed that Abraham is currently in custody, assisting with the ongoing investigation, and is expected to be brought before the court soon.
In the meantime, the police have made arrangements for the victim to receive medical treatment at the Police Hospital in Accra.
