Nana Ama Dufie II Celebrates 3rd Anniversary as Asuoho Konkomahemaa with Community Health Fair

Nana Ama Dufie II, the Asuoho Konkomahemaa, marked the third anniversary of her enstoolment at Konkoma in the Bosomtwe District, Ashanti Region, on Saturday, October 26, 2024. The celebration, themed “Empowering Wellness and Celebrating Leadership,” highlighted her commitment to community health and well-being.
To commemorate this significant milestone, Nana Dufie collaborated with several organizations, including Two-3-One Outreach, the F. O. Ofosu-Baako Foundation, Healthy Heart Africa, Apomuden Pharmaceuticals, Spot Stroke Fast Foundation, Bernamis Pharmacy, Medilab, and the National Health Insurance Authority, to provide free health screenings for the local community.
Nana Agyei Oduro Panin II, the Konkomahene, attended the event and expressed his appreciation for Nana Dufie’s impactful leadership and contributions to the community.
In her remarks, Nana Ama Dufie II thanked traditional leaders, her loyal subjects, and the participating organizations for their unwavering support. She reiterated her dedication to upholding the dignity and pride of Asuoho Konkoma through visionary leadership.
Residents of the community shared their enthusiasm for the event in an interview with Opemsuo Radio. One resident stated, “Nanahemaa is my daughter; what she has done for us is big. I never knew she could do this much. God bless her.”
Another expressed hope that the initiative would not be a one-time effort: “I am happy. I hope it does not end here and she continues to do more.”
A third resident urged Nana Dufie to extend her initiatives to neighboring areas: “She should continue to do more than she has done this year and extend her efforts to Beposo, uniting us all. We also thank Opemsuo Radio because people will hear what the Ohemaa has done.”
