Justine Mary-Anne Enyonam Agbenu, one of the two 12-year-old victims of the tragic East Legon car accident, is being laid to rest today, Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Justine lost her life alongside her friend, Maame Dwomoh Boaten, in the crash that occurred on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
The burial is set to take place in a private ceremony, following the interment of Maame Dwomoh, who has already been laid to rest.
A farewell service is currently underway at Christ the King Catholic Church in Accra, marking a poignant moment for family and friends. Videos from the service have emerged, capturing the somber atmosphere as attendees come to pay their respects.
Footage shows Justine’s remains arriving at the church in a hearse, adorned with floral wreaths, including a heartfelt tribute from her mother. Another video, shared by Kofi TV, depicts the white casket being escorted into the church auditorium.
The service began with a brief prayer led by clergy and family members, after which the casket was moved to the front of the hall to commence the burial service.
