Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the General Overseer of Action Chapel International Ministry, is seeking a formal apology and retraction from the online portal ghanacelebrity.com for publishing what he describes as false allegations about him.

In a letter dated October 15, 2024, sent through his legal representatives, Sustineri Attorneys, Duncan-Williams expressed his discontent over a report suggesting that his son had implicated him in a secret discussion with pastors about Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s presidential ambitions.

The contentious publication quickly gained traction on various social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter), further amplifying its reach and potential impact.

Duncan-Williams’ lawyers have labeled the article as defamatory and misleading, asserting that it was both malicious and vexatious. They accused ghanacelebrity.com of knowingly disseminating misinformation, which they claim has harmed the archbishop’s reputation.

As part of their demands, the legal team is insisting on a public apology and a retraction of the story to help mitigate the damage caused by the unfounded claims. They also indicated that they are prepared to pursue further legal actions to safeguard Archbishop Duncan-Williams’ reputation.
