Dr. Eric Bossman Asare, the Deputy Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), has confirmed that the Commission will announce the presidential results from all 16 regions prior to revealing the national results in the upcoming elections on December 7.
This approach aims to enhance transparency in the electoral process.
During the launch of the Coalition of Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) Election Monitoring System, Dr. Bossman Asare reiterated the EC’s commitment to conducting free and fair elections.
“For the presidential election, results from polling stations will first be sent to the constituency coalition centers, and then to the regional coalition centers,” he explained. “We will announce the presidential results for each region, and all political parties have been informed of this process.”
