A chilling crime has shaken the community of Kwamo, where a 20-year-old, Samuel Obeng, has confessed to killing his 8-year-old brother, Messiah Akomeah.
According to reports, Obeng lured his younger brother to a remote bush location, where he committed the heinous act. Afterwards, he calmly returned home to inform his uncle, Kofi Appiah, about the murder.
Obeng claimed he was possessed by a spirit at the time, allegedly manipulating him to commit the crime.
“I never saw this coming,” Appiah told Adom News, expressing shock and dismay. While acknowledging that Obeng smoked marijuana, known locally as “weed,” Appiah said there were no warning signs of such extreme behavior.
Tragically, the victim’s body was discovered, nearly decapitated, and has since been deposited at the mortuary.
The incident has left the community reeling, seeking answers to the senseless and brutal killing of an innocent child.
