The 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards took place Tuesday night, with Kendrick Lamar emerging as the evening’s standout winner, despite Megan Thee Stallion leading the nominations. Megan garnered an impressive 12 nominations, while Lamar followed closely with 11; however, he secured victory in all eight categories in which he was nominated, leaving Megan without any awards.
Among other notable winners were Nicki Minaj, who took home the award for Hip-Hop Album of the Year for Pink Friday 2, and Sexyy Red, recognized as Best Breakthrough Hip-Hop Artist. 50 Cent was awarded Hustler of the Year.
