“Before we Release a Song, Attacks Come” – Empress Gifty

Gospel musician Empress Gifty has disclosed that she and other leading gospel artists frequently encounter spiritual attacks before the release of certain songs.

During an interview on Adom FM’s Ofie Kwanso show, Empress Gifty explained that these challenges emerge because the songs are intended to have a positive impact on people’s lives.

“Sometimes, you go through attacks before a song comes out. The kind of challenges you face… it’s because the song will touch lives, so you need to be spiritually strong and fit,” she stated.

She further mentioned that these attacks can be so intense that artists may forget their lyrics or become disheartened from promoting their songs.

“That’s why some people stop doing interviews when they release new songs. They lose focus, sometimes even becoming too focused on the money instead of promoting the message,” she shared with Jerry Justice.
