Oakville Doctor Faces New Sexual Assault Charges

Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested a 64-year-old Oakville doctor, Dr. Clarence Clottey, on charges of sexual assault.
The incident allegedly occurred during a patient visit at Bristol Family Physicians on Bristol Circle.
Authorities are seeking information from potential additional victims after the arrest.
Dr. Clottey has a history of sexual assault allegations and faced previous charges in 2016.
Although acquitted in 2018, he was arrested again in 2019 for a separate sexual assault incident.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) has imposed practice restrictions on Dr. Clottey, including a ban on examining female patients in sensitive areas.
The doctor has also faced a one-year suspension from medical practice.
This latest arrest comes as a shock to the community and raises serious concerns about patient safety.
