Renowned Kumawood actress, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu, has lambasted self-proclaimed fashion critic, Charlie Dior, over his harsh assessment of her fashion sense.
In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, Mercy Asiedu dismissed Dior’s criticism, stating that only idle individuals concern themselves with her style choices.
“I dress for my husband and myself,” Mercy Asiedu emphasized. “If I wear a dress today and my husband disapproves of it, I will remove it and wear something he approves of.”
She further asserted, “Those criticizing my sense of fashion are a bunch of jobless beings. If you have something keeping you busy, you won’t sit on social media to criticize my outfit.”
Mercy Asiedu made it clear that she only values the opinions of her loved ones, specifically her husband and children, and disregards the views of others.
The veteran actress’s response comes after Charlie Dior publicly denounced her fashion sense, sparking a heated debate among fans and industry insiders.
