Gospel artiste Adom Kiki has released his latest single, “Asafo Yehowa,” featuring renowned worship leader Joe Mettle. The song, which translates to “Lord of Hosts,” was recorded live at the 2023 The Worshipper’s Heart event and serves as a powerful rendition of an Apostolic hymn that honors God as the commander of heavenly armies and protector of His followers.
The track skillfully merges traditional and contemporary gospel sounds, creating a profound atmosphere of worship. It encapsulates the raw emotion and spiritual depth of the worship experience, offering a heartfelt expression of faith and trust in God’s sovereignty.
The launch of “Asafo Yehowa” follows the success of Kiki’s previous release, “Doxa Medley,” a vibrant collection of uplifting Ghanaian praise songs that debuted in April.
In addition to his new single, Adom Kiki has announced the 2024 edition of his eagerly anticipated worship event, “The Worshipper’s Heart: The Mercy Edition.” Set for November 17, this year’s gathering promises to be an impactful time of worship, reflection, and deep spiritual connection. Joe Mettle will once again headline the event alongside Adom Kiki, further enhancing its significance.
About Adom Kiki
Born Emmanuel Obeng Opoku, Adom Kiki’s musical journey is deeply influenced by his family’s passion for music. Growing up in a household that treasured music, his late father had connections with the legendary Osibisa group, igniting Adom’s early love for the art.
A graduate of Prempeh College and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kiki has dedicated over two decades to playing the piano for the Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC) at Ayigya Tech in Kumasi. He has contributed to numerous worship experiences and shared the stage with prominent international gospel artists, including Don Moen.
Adom Kiki is a multi-talented instrumentalist, songwriter, and worship leader who officially entered the gospel music industry in 2021. As a devoted husband and father of four daughters, he balances family life with his deep passion for worship and ministry. In 2022, he founded the Adom Kiki Outreach Ministry, a platform dedicated to inspiring and touching lives through gospel music.
