- Tour ends at Cardiff's Principality Stadium
- New album & Isle of Wight Festival headline
Stereophonics have officially announced their biggest stadium tour to date, slated for next summer and featuring performances across seven towns and cities. Titled “Stadium Anthems,” the tour will culminate in a highly anticipated final show at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
Originating from Cwmaman, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and formed in 1992, Stereophonics hold the title of the most successful Welsh band of their generation, boasting eight UK number one albums.
Frontman Kelly Jones expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming tour, stating he is “excited” about the opportunity to perform for large audiences in June and July. This will mark the band’s first arena tour since 2022, when they delighted fans with two nights at the Principality Stadium alongside Sir Tom Jones.
The tour will include stops in Belfast, Dublin, Cork, Huddersfield, Glasgow, and London, with special guests yet to be announced. Additionally, Stereophonics are set to headline the Isle of Wight festival in 2025.
Jones shared his anticipation for the tour, saying, “Playing all the hits of this band’s catalogue for people in huge outdoor gatherings through the summer of 2025 makes me so excited. We should make a new album…oh wait …we already did that,” referring to the band’s forthcoming 13th studio album, scheduled for release in 2025.
Tickets for the tour will be available for purchase starting at 09:00 BST on 11 October.
