Retired Commissioner of Police (COP) Fosu Agyeman, a prominent figure in Ghana’s police service, is making headlines as he transitions into the music industry following a successful career in law enforcement.
Starting his journey as a Police Constable, COP Fosu Agyeman climbed the ranks to ultimately become Commissioner of Police, holding several significant positions along the way. His notable roles included serving as the Deputy Regional Police Commander for the Northern Region, Regional Police Commander for the Western Region, and Director General of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) at the Police Headquarters in Accra.
Beyond his law enforcement duties, COP Fosu Agyeman has long harbored a passion for music. His musical journey began in his youth as a chorister, where he performed with the Ghana Police Dance Band and various regional police bands during official events in the Ashanti, Western, and Northern Regions. Additionally, he has delighted congregations with solo performances at church services.
In November 2023, COP Fosu Agyeman took a significant step in his music career by composing and releasing his first gospel song. Titled “W’adom,” the single is now available across all major social media platforms under the label COP Fosu Agyeman Music.
The retired police chief’s music career is managed by Mr. Kyei Baffour, the CEO of B Kay Art Design, who also oversees the IT services related to his music, ensuring a robust online presence and smooth operations.
