Gospel artist Obaapa Christy has seemingly addressed her former husband, Pastor Love, in light of his recent arrest and subsequent imprisonment for theft.
In a post on her Instagram page, Obaapa Christy expressed her thoughts on the importance of involving God in one’s endeavors, suggesting that those who act independently may end up isolated. She wrote on Facebook: “The most humbling statement we can say is… ‘WE ARE NOTHING WITHOUT GOD.’ And the most powerful statement is… ‘WITH GOD I CAN DO ANYTHING.’ #HappyNewMonth.”
Pastor Love, who has received a four-year prison sentence, was convicted of stealing a 2013 Toyota Highlander valued at $50,000 from a close acquaintance. Reports indicate that he was taken to court in 2017 after selling the vehicle without the consent of its owner, Samuel Amankwah, who had sent the car from the United States.
During the court proceedings, it was revealed that Pastor Love had initially used his own funds to pay for the vehicle’s release from the port, expecting to be reimbursed by his friend. The arrangement involved him selling the car and deducting the expenses he incurred for clearing it. However, Pastor Love sold the vehicle without obtaining permission, leading to his current legal troubles.
