Davido had revealed that the upcoming track would be a blockbuster, coinciding with Nigeria’s independence celebration. However, Wizkid seemed unimpressed, taking to X (formerly Twitter) to throw subtle jabs.
“Pussy boys dropping mid again. Una nor dey tire,” Wizkid tweeted, in what fans perceived as a direct shot at Davido.
The comment sparked a fiery response from Davido’s associate, who accused Wizkid of chasing clout by using Davido’s name. Wizkid swiftly responded, asserting that he had no need to “beef” Davido to promote his music.
