Peter Appiahene Denies Involvement in NPP’s Ballot Position

Dr. Peter Appiahene, a member of the Electoral Commission (EC), has strongly denied allegations of assisting the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in securing the first position on the ballot paper.

According Captain Smart, Dr. Appiahene was allegedly present at the EC’s head office during the recent balloting and provided a special yellow-colored ball to ensure NPP’s top spot.

However, Dr. Appiahene issued a statement categorically dismissing the claims as “completely false and without evidence.”

Dr. Appiahene emphasized his integrity, principles, and values, which have guided his work since his EC appointment. He urged the public to disregard the “unfounded allegations” and treat them with contempt.

As a member of the EC, Dr. Appiahene remains dedicated to serving Ghana with transparency, fairness, and integrity.
