Gospel Titan KODA’s Final Journey Begins Today

The Ghanaian gospel music scene will bid farewell to its beloved star, Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, known affectionately as KODA.
After a five-month delay, the renowned songwriter and singer will be laid to rest on today, September 20.
A solemn funeral service will be held at the KICC Dominion Centre in Accra, where KODA’s family, friends, and countless admirers will gather to honor his life and legacy.
Following the service, a private burial ceremony will take place.
The original burial date had been set for July 5, but unforeseen circumstances necessitated a postponement. KODA, who was 45 when he passed away on April 21, leaves behind a grieving family and a vast musical catalog that has touched the hearts of many.
His songs, including “Nsempii,” “Nkwa Abodoo,” “Yapai,” and “Adorso,” continue to inspire and uplift listeners.
