A devastating fire at Kpone Kokompe Farms in the Kpone Katamanso Municipality of the Greater Accra Region has resulted in the deaths of four individuals. The incident, which occurred around 11:20 p.m. on Friday, destroyed approximately ten wooden structures.

The victims include a 27-year-old man, a 14-year-old girl, an 11-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old baby. The exact cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time. Firefighters from the Ghana National Fire Service were able to bring the blaze under control after it had ravaged the area.

A neighbor who witnessed the tragic event recounted the severity of the fire to Adom News. The witness described the intense flames and explained that efforts to rescue the victims were unsuccessful due to the rapid spread of the fire.

A spokesperson from Devtraco Fire Station, ADO1 Bright Nana Sarfo, confirmed that investigations are currently underway to determine the origin of the fire. The entire community is in a state of shock and mourning as authorities continue to investigate this tragic event.
