With the 2024 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) National Championship on the horizon, anticipation and excitement are building.
This beloved academic competition is back, drawing schools from all over the country to vie for top honors and the coveted trophy.
Among the 100+ schools that have entered, 27 have distinguished themselves by advancing to the one-eighth stage of the championship.
These schools will face off in intellectual battles at the Centre for National Culture (CNC), UCC Auditorium 900, and School of Graduate Studies (SGS) Auditorium.
The official kick-off of the 2024 NSMQ, along with the preliminary round draw, is scheduled for October 1 at 3 PM at the New GNAT Hall.
The preliminary rounds will unfold from October 14 to 17, with the top schools moving on to the quarter-finals and semi-finals at the SGS Auditorium. The championship will culminate in a grand finale at the New Education Centre (NEC).
