Mr. Beautiful Accuses Former NDC Actors of Betrayal

- Mr. Beautiful has accused some actors and actresses of betraying Mahama
- He said Agya Koo also abandoned Mahama
- Mr. Mahama remains committed to supporting aged actors and musicians
Ghanaian actor Clement Bonney, better known as Mr. Beautiful, has accused some actors and actresses of betraying former President John Dramani Mahama after his defeat in the 2020 elections.
According to Mr. Beautiful, these individuals were motivated by personal gain rather than loyalty.
In an interview, Mr. Beautiful, a staunch supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), revealed that Agya Koo was among those who abandoned Mr. Mahama.
He claimed that these actors and actresses were initially loyal to the former president but switched allegiance to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) after losing favor.
Mr. Beautiful alleged that Agya Koo’s defection was influenced by a personal incident involving his attempt to visit former First Lady Lordina Mahama.
He claimed that Agya Koo was denied entry to the residence and subsequently felt slighted, leading to his decision to join the NPP.
Despite the alleged betrayal, Mr. Beautiful emphasized that Mr. Mahama remains committed to supporting aged actors and musicians.
He revealed that the former president regularly provides financial assistance to a group of over 20 individuals, covering expenses such as food and healthcare.
Mr. Beautiful’s accusations shed light on the complex dynamics within the Ghanaian entertainment industry and the potential influence of political affiliations on the careers of actors and actresses.
