Highlife musician Ofori Amponsah has publicly endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, urging Ghanaian youth to support the Vice President in the upcoming elections. Amponsah shared his endorsement during a performance at the Boys Boys event, which was hosted by Sammi Awuku in Accra.
Amponsah expressed his belief that Dr. Bawumia represents the future of Ghana and that the youth would benefit significantly if he becomes President. “Ghanaian youth vote for Dr. Bawumia. If you don’t make him Ghana’s next President you’ll be losing a lot. He is the future,” Amponsah stated.
He further suggested that Bawumia has a strong chance of winning the election, adding, “It is possible Dr. Bawumia will win.”
In the 2024 elections, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is leading the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as its candidate. He is aiming to break the traditional eight-year political cycle and make history as the first leader to achieve this milestone in Ghana.
