TMZ has obtained the 911 call made at the time of his death. In the call, his girlfriend informed the dispatcher that the rapper was unresponsive, not breathing, and lacked a heartbeat. She also reported that he had been found on a couch and had started foaming at the mouth when she attempted to move him. Born Dequantes Lamar in Atlanta, Rich Homie Quan rose to prominence in 2013 with his breakthrough hit, “Type of Way.” He continued to gain recognition with popular tracks such as “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and “Ride Out.” Quan was also known for his collaboration with Young Thug on the Cash Money Records project, “Rich Gang,” and worked frequently with fellow Atlanta artists including 2 Chainz and Jacquees.
