Pastor Love has publicly apologized for his recent outbursts directed at his ex-wife, Obaapa Christy, and the pastors he accused of being connected to her. In a formal statement, he addressed his comments made on social media and extended his apologies to those who were affected.
Speaking on PeaceFM, Pastor Love acknowledged that his statements were fueled by anger and expressed regret for the harm caused. “Everything I said about Obaapa Christy was driven by anger. I am only human, and I ask for forgiveness from Ghanaians and all the pastors I named, including Kyiri Abosom and Adonteng Boateng who resides in the United States,” he said. “I was under pressure and said things I shouldn’t have. I hope they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”
Pastor Love’s previous comments included accusations that some pastors were secretly involved with Obaapa Christy. His response to Christy’s claim that she did not write her hit songs led him to make various accusations and use harsh language against the gospel singer.
His outbursts, which included profanity and severe insults, were met with significant backlash from the public.
