Gospel singer Joyce Blessing has expressed that she has not lost hope for love and marriage, despite her previous challenges in her marital life. Speaking during an interview on 3FM’s Drive on September 3, Blessing shared that although her past experiences with marriage have been difficult, she still views marriage as a beautiful and desirable aspect of life.
Joyce Blessing discussed her approach to future relationships, emphasizing the importance of maintaining personal peace. She advised that individuals should seek relationships that allow them to remain true to themselves rather than those that force them into roles or behaviors that are uncomfortable.
“What I have been through and my past experience, I will use it to protect the new one that I’m going to enter in. I think marriage is a beautiful thing, love is a beautiful thing, I believe that when you meet one who understands you and loves you just as you are and you can be yourself every time, it’s very important,” she said.
Blessing further noted, “Not one that you are trying to be someone and please the person which even you cannot do it but by force you want to,” highlighting her belief in authentic and fulfilling relationships.
Joyce Blessing’s previous marriage, which lasted nearly a decade, ended due to infidelities on both sides. Despite the difficulties, she remains hopeful and optimistic about finding love again. The couple had three children together during their marriage.
