“Don’t Jeopardize Christmas” – Adina Thembi Warns of Election Violence Consequences

Ghanaian singer Adina Thembi Ndamse has called on young people to avoid violence in the upcoming 2024 elections, emphasizing that the safety of this year’s Christmas festivities could be at risk.

Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye, Adina Thembi urged Ghanaians to make thoughtful choices when voting in the presidential and parliamentary elections scheduled for December 7. She stressed the importance of maintaining peace throughout the election period to ensure a joyful holiday season.

“My advice to everyone is to remember that we will have to live with the consequences of our voting decisions for the next four years. Therefore, we should be careful to make the right choice,” she said.

Adina Thembi further highlighted the significance of prioritizing peace and resisting any efforts to incite violence. “Let’s prioritise the peace that we are known for and resist any attempts to incite violence. If there is unrest after the elections, it could jeopardize our Christmas celebrations,” she warned.
