Casemiro to Stay at Manchester United Despite Galatasaray Interest

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has no intention of leaving Old Trafford unless he is explicitly told that he is not part of the club’s future plans, according to a source close to the player.

Galatasaray, eager to bolster their midfield before the Turkish transfer window closes on September 13, have expressed interest in signing Casemiro on loan.

However, the Brazilian remains confident in his role at United and is determined to fight for his place in Erik ten Hag’s starting lineup.

While the recent £50 million signing of Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain has raised questions about Casemiro’s playing time, the 32-year-old is expected to return to training next week and be available for United’s match against Southampton on September 14.

Despite the mistakes he made in United’s 3-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, which led to his substitution at halftime, Casemiro remains a valued member of the squad.

While the club is open to listening to realistic offers, Ten Hag and sporting director Dan Ashworth are mindful of the potential consequences of weakening the team ahead of a demanding season.
