Music sensation Rema has donated N105 million to Christ Embassy Church during a Thanksgiving service held in Benin City, Edo State.
The donation was announced as Rema, reflecting on his personal journey of struggle and success, addressed the congregation. The artist, who lost his father at the age of eight, praised the church for its pivotal role in supporting his family through challenging times.
The substantial donation will be directed towards several key initiatives within the church. Specifically, N40 million will be allocated for infrastructure development, N20 million will support the publication of Rhapsody of Realities, N25 million will benefit the teen church, and N20 million will be used to aid widows in the church community.
In his remarks, Rema emphasized the significance of the donation. He stated, “I am not here to give myself any accolades or glory but to give God the glory.”
