Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Running Mate for the 2024 elections, has publicly praised his wife, Alma Naa Jama Opoku Prempeh, as she launches her campaign for the party.
In a Facebook post on September 1, 2024, NAPO shared a video of Alma’s campaign launch in the Greater Accra Region, specifically the Odododiodoo Constituency, with the message, “Welcome to the contest of ideas, sweetheart,” accompanied by a love emoji.
During her campaign start, Alma visited her maternal family home in Odododiodoo to seek their support.
The event, attended by notable figures including the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, featured traditional ceremonies and heartfelt interactions with family members and party supporters.
The head of her maternal family, Nii Agyir Banor, offered blessings to guide and protect Alma as she begins her political journey.
