The goals marked a significant milestone for Mbappé, who had been searching for his first La Liga goals after a scoreless run in his previous three matches.
Despite Betis’ early opportunities, Madrid dominated the match.
Mbappé himself had several chances before finally finding the net, while Eder Militao and Valverde also tested the Betis goalkeeper. Vinicius Jr. also narrowly missed with a shot that struck the post.
With this win, Real Madrid remain unbeaten in La Liga, although they trail Barcelona by four points.
Betis, on the other hand, have struggled to find their form, picking up just one point from their first three matches.
