Two people lost their lives in a tragic head-on collision between an O.A. bus and a motorcycle on the Berekum-Sunyani road early Saturday morning.
The accident occurred near Amanfoso when the O.A. bus, with registration number GT 5768-18, attempted to overtake another vehicle.
The bus collided with the car and then struck a motorcycle, resulting in the deaths of the two individuals riding the motorcycle.
According to eyewitnesses, the O.A. bus was traveling from Accra to Berekum at the time of the accident.
While the bus passengers with minor injuries have been treated and released, five others remain hospitalized.
The O.A. bus company has pledged to cover all medical expenses related to the accident and has urged road users to exercise caution in the area, known for its history of accidents.
