Three Arrested in Connection with East Legon Robbery

In a targeted operation, the Ghana Police Service has apprehended three individuals linked to a robbery that occurred in East Legon, Accra, on August 18, 2024.
The arrests were made during a series of coordinated actions by the police. Isaac Brena Eshun and Peter Amuzu were taken into custody in Accra on August 21 and 23, respectively, while Ibrahim Mohammed was apprehended in Tamale on August 24.
The police recovered several items from the suspects, including two iPhones, a Mercedes-Benz C180, and three other vehicles believed to be acquired unlawfully.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspects are part of a criminal network involved in both robbery and the illicit trade of stolen vehicles nationwide.
The suspects remain in police custody and are cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
