Ghanaian actor Kwaku Manu has recently made headlines following reports that his ex-wife, Okailey Nyarko, has remarried a white man abroad. The news has generated considerable buzz on social media, especially as it emerged that Manu had assisted her in moving overseas before she left him for her new spouse.
In an interview with blogger ZionFelix, Kwaku Manu addressed the topic of remarriage and shared his perspective on his personal life. When questioned about the possibility of finding a new partner, Manu responded with confidence, stating, “Why wouldn’t I? How old am I? I got married when I was young, so now that I’m older, why wouldn’t I marry again?”
Manu clarified that the dissolution of his marriage was not due to geographical distance. Reflecting on the emotional impact of the separation, he admitted, “Whenever you lose something, it’s painful. But whatever has happened is for the best; let’s leave it at that.”
Kwaku Manu and Naa Okailey Nyarko divorced over three years ago, with Manu publicly confirming their split in a 2022 interview with Kobby Kyei. While the specific reasons for their separation were not detailed, Manu noted that both parties had made efforts to sustain the marriage before deciding to go their separate ways.
