EC Must Delete 3000 ‘Illegally’ Transferred Voters – Ajumako NDC

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ajumako Enyan Essiem constituency has made a shocking accusation against the Electoral Commission (EC).

The NDC alleges that the EC is colluding with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to inflate the voters’ register in the area.

According to the NDC, over 3,000 names have been illegally added to the register, sparking concerns of electoral malfeasance.

The party is demanding an explanation from the EC regarding the sudden appearance of these names on the register.

Galahad Alex Andoh, Communications Officer for the NDC, addressed a press conference in Ajumako on Wednesday, August 28.

Andoh revealed that discrepancies were discovered when the party compared its own register with the one provided by the EC.

The NDC claims that the EC’s register contains anomalies, with an excess of 3,017 names unlawfully transferred onto the register.

Andoh emphasized that the NDC will resist any attempts by the EC to rig the elections through such means.

The party is calling for transparency and accountability in the electoral process.

The NDC’s allegations have raised concerns about the integrity of the electoral process in the Ajumako Enyan Essiem constituency.
