John Dramani Mahama, the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is set to campaign in the Greater Accra Region on Tuesday and Wednesday. The two-day tour, branded as #Mahama4Change2024, will see him visit seven constituencies to present his vision, proposals, and policies from the NDC 2024 Resetting Ghana manifesto.
During the tour, Mahama will engage with a diverse range of groups including traditional leaders, community stakeholders, youth, women’s organizations, traders, and individuals from the informal sector. His goal is to communicate his plans and gather support from various segments of the community.
On the first day, Mahama will focus on the Ada, Sege, and Ashaiman constituencies, where he will meet with local residents and discuss his agenda for change. The second day will take him to Amasaman, Domeabra Obom, Trobu, and Anyaa Sowutoum constituencies to continue his campaign efforts.
This regional tour is a key part of Mahama’s campaign strategy as he seeks to build momentum and rally support ahead of the upcoming elections. His interactions with constituents are expected to highlight his commitment to addressing local and national issues.
Mahama’s visit underscores the NDC’s focus on grassroots engagement and the importance of connecting with voters across different communities in the Greater Accra Region.
