Ghanaian actor Don Little has urged the public to extend an apology to comedian Funny Face, citing what he perceives as unfair treatment following a minor accident involving the comedian.
In recent remarks, Don Little criticized the public’s response to Funny Face, contrasting it with the leniency shown towards fellow actor Lilwin after a more serious incident. According to Little, while Funny Face’s accident did not result in any fatalities, the comedian faced excessive backlash. In comparison, Lilwin’s recent accident led to the tragic death of a child, yet Lilwin’s response, including a gratitude song recorded from his hospital bed, was met with less scrutiny.
Don Little expressed his discontent with the disparity in public reactions, asserting that Funny Face, despite his apology and the non-fatal nature of his accident, was treated harshly. He accused the public of hypocrisy and suggested that the comedian’s social media persona may have contributed to the disproportionate backlash.
“The way Ghanaians have reacted is hypocritical,” Don Little stated, adding that Funny Face’s treatment was unjust compared to Lilwin’s. He emphasized that Funny Face’s apology should have been sufficient and called for the public to acknowledge the unfairness in the situation.
